Research afternoon on Spatial Statistics in Medical Applications The event will showcase (i) statistical methods for spatial data, and (ii) biomedical questions deserving of analysis using such methods. Our aim overall is to stimulate discussion and interaction between statisticians and biomedical scientists that will then draw the two fields closer together and potentially catalyse new collaborations. After an introduction, there will be 10 presentations (5 mins plus 10 mins Q&A) alternating between “statistical methods” and “biomedical applications”.
