Research Afternoon: Statistical Challenges for Messy and Complex Social Science Data

Most data resources used in the social sciences do not result from a simple random sample. Complex sample designs are ubiquitous, and additional complexities such as ‘missing data’ are introduced during data collection. This event will consider the statistical complexities of analysing messy and complex social science data resources. The aim is to discuss analytical challenges which social scientists encounter in relation to dealing with messy data, and potentially brainstorm solutions with colleagues in Statistics.

More information, including registration, will be available soon.

Organised by Valeria Skafida and Roxanne Connelly.
